HISTORICAL SOCIETY REVISES HOURS
The board of directors of the Lunenburg Historical Society has voted to discontinue open hours at the Society on the second Saturday of each month in favor of hours more convenient for members and the public. The change is effective immediately. New weekday evening hours will be announced soon.
The Society’s collection of town records, warrants and other documents dating to the eighteenth century contain unique historic anecdotes, biographies and recorded happenings significant to Lunenburg’s early days. Many of them provide entertaining revelations of history and human life in our town. Several presentations will be scheduled to coincide with the evening hours.
The Society’s regular hours every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to Noon are unchanged.
